FNSS is organizing “3rd MILDESIGN International Military Land Vehicles Design Competition” in 2019. Applications will be held between November 15th 2018 and March 1st, 2019.
Competition will start with competitors uploading their project on to www.fnssmildesign.com Projects will be evaluated by the Advisory and Evaluation Committees, consisting of members who are experts in their field and who come from different disciplines in the area of design. Projects ranking the highest will be announced on www.fnss.com.tr and www.fnssmildesign.com websites on May 1st, 2019. Awards ceremony for the winning projects will be held in IDEF 2019.
Competition, which is expected to be participated at international level, will be evaluated in two different categories: “Professional” and “Student”.
For the “Professional” category, anyone over the age of 18 can participate in the competition without seeking any training or certification.
In the “Student” category, only students attending the undergraduate programs of the universities can participate. FNSS aims to create a platform to support advancement of designers in defense industry by promoting the studies of original product development by organizing this competition.
The competition, which will bring young designers together with professional circles, aims to reveal the professional designer potential for the sector.
A total of 65 projects, 45 Professional and 20 Student, participated to the first competition, FNSS MILDESIGN 2011. In 2015, 152 projects, 105 Professional and 47 Student, evaluated within the competition. Today, some of the designers and engineers from high ranked projects of previous competitions are working in Research & Development Department of FNSS and shaping the future of military land vehicles .
FNSS invites all designers, who are confident in their military land vehicle design and want to take part in defense industry, to participate in the 3rd FNSS MILDESIGN International Military Land Vehicles Design Competition.
