As part of the graduation of new promotions in the various schools and training structures of the People’s National Army, Major General Abdelaziz Haouam, Commander of the Territory Air Defence Forces, presided Monday 24 June 2024, the graduation ceremony of new promotions at the Higher School of the Territory Air Defence - Chahid Ali Chabati - in Réghaïa/1st Military Region (photo).

The graduated promotions had the honour of bearing the name of Defunct Moujahid Mahmoud Guennez and are composed of:

• The 32 promotion of Command and Staff Officers
• The 48 promotion of Officer’s Improvement Courses
• The 15 promotion of Career Officers in Application Training
• The 22 promotion of Air Traffic Controller
• The 12 state Air Defence Engineer promotion
• The 11 promotion of Licensed Students

On the sideline of this ceremony, open days were organized at the School’s level where the students end- of- study projects were exhibited. At the end, a tribute was paid to the family of the defunct Moujahid, the Algerian Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

Meantime, the Higher School of Technical Aeronautic, Chahid Rahali Moussa, in Dar El-Beida/1st Militry Region also celebrated Sunday 23 June 2024, the graduation of the 30th promotion of career officer students and the 11th promotion of specialization cycle.

In the presence of military authorities, executives and teachers of the school, Major General Mahmoud Laraba, Commander of the Air Force, who supervised this ceremony, gave his agreement to baptize the graduated promotions in the name of Chahid Said Azzal, and paid tribute to his family.

Lastly, the Military Health Services Application School Chahid Fares Yahia, celebrated on Sunday 23rd June 2024, the graduation of its new promotions, which had the honour to bear the name of the Late Moudjahid Mokhtar Belacel, in a ceremony presided by Major General Mohammed El-Bachir Souid, Central Director of Military Health Services at the Ministry of National Defence. The graduated promotions are:

• The 14th promotion of improvement Officer Courses
• The 12th promotion of the Application Courses for Career Officer Students
• The 4th promotion of Career Student Officers, Common Basic Training
• The 31st promotion of the Professional Military Brevet No. 2 “Nurse”;
• The 12th promotion of the Professional Military Brevet No. 2 “Health Administration”
• The 34th promotion of the Professional Military Brevet No. 1 “Nurse”
• The 22nd promotion of the Professional Military Brevet No. 1 “Health Administration”
