The Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Chief-of-Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, received British Land Forces Chief-of-Staff, General Ivan Jones on Sunday, and explored with him aspects of the bilateral ties, especially means of boosting military and defense cooperation and coordination, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Lt-General Al-Nuaimi also received on Sunday a number of affiliates from the BDF Taskforce (photo) which is taking part in the Saudi-led Arab Alliance as part of Operation Restore Hope in Yemen.

Royal Guard Commander Brigadier Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa attended the meeting.

Lt. Gen. Al-Nuaimi welcomed the taskforce and commended the efforts of the BDF affiliates in performing their sacred duty as part of the Saudi-led Arab Alliance to restore legitimacy in Yemen.

The meeting was attended by Royal Bahrain Air Force Air Vice Marshal Sheikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, officers as well as families of the Taskforce servicemen.
