Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Inspects Defense Force Units

Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa (photo), paid field visits to a number of BDF units, and was informed about their achievements, as well as their procedures to enhance the level of their combat and administrative readiness.


He was also updated about the developments witnessed by the units at all levels, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.


The Commander-in-Chief pointed out that the BDF, thanks to the constant support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, has become has become a modern force with its rich history, prosperous present and bright future.


He highlighted the role of the BDF as the bulwark of the kingdom and its fortified shield that defends its borders, stressing the importance of continuing efforts to develop BDF combat and administrative capabilities so as to be able to carry out the tasks assigned to it at the local level.


He underlined the BDF’s resolve to continue improving the capabilities of its units and weaponry so that they reach the highest readiness levels.
