His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of Bahrain’s Armed Forces and Prime Minister, visited the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was received by the Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Minister of Defence, HE Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, the BDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, and a number of senior BDF officers.
HRH emphasised the BDF’s important role in advancing the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
His Royal Highness was briefed on the BDF’s development plans and programmes on combat and administrative readiness, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
His Royal Highness commended the BDF’s efficiency and military capabilities, which reflect their dedication and role in safeguarding regional security alongside the Kingdom's allies.
HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister expressed pride in the officers of the BDF who continue to safeguard the Kingdom.
In another development, Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqer Al Nuaimi attended the graduation ceremony of the (Junior Staff Course 2) at the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF).
A briefing was given on the course and the training programs it included in the military field, in addition to several scientific and specialized lectures delivered by several officials in the ministries of Bahrain.
The Chief of Staff presented certificates to the graduates and awarded the top achievers.
He congratulated them on successfully passing the requirements of the course, in which several officers of the Armed Forces of Saudi Arabia participated.
Al Nuaimi highlighted the importance of the course as it qualifies them for leadership positions in the military field, expressing his happiness and appreciation to the trainers for the efforts they made in planning and successfully implementing the various stages of this course.
Military Attaché at the Saudi embassy Brigadier General Fahad bin Ibrahim Al-Thunayan and senior BDF officers attended the graduation ceremony.
