Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), chaired Monday the meeting of the Defence and National Security Committee.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the military and security services in the Kingdom, consolidating security and stability and preserving the nation’s gains and capabilities.
Lieutenant-General Tariq Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, National Guard Staff Director, and Lieutenant General Ghanim Ibrahim Al Fadhala, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, attended the meeting.
Earlier, the Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) received Sunday Brigadier-General Mohammed Rashid Al Mutairi, the Military Attaché at the Kuwaiti Embassy to Bahrain.
The two sides reviewed the solid fraternal Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations. They also discussed a number of military issues, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
For his part, Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Bahrain’s Minister of Defence Affairs, also received Brigadier General Mohammed Rashid Al Mutairi, the Military Attaché at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Bahrain. The meeting discussed military cooperation.
