The new Military Judiciary building was opened Tuesday under the patronage of His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain’s National Guard.

The opening of the new building coincides with celebrations of the 27th anniversary of the National Guard.

Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, National Guard Staff Director, was present.

HH General Shaikh Mohammed toured the building and its facilities, which reflected the National Guard’s development and achievements in all its administrative and military sectors, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

HH General Shaikh Mohammed affirmed that the development of the National Guard stems from the support and guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

The National Guard President emphasised the importance of the Military Judiciary in Bahrain as it is an integral part of the judicial authority and the adjudication of disputes.

HH General Shaikh Mohammed highlighted the importance of developing the legal system within the judicial system in the Kingdom.
