Bahrain’s Deputy King Visits the General Command of Bahrain Defence Force

Bahrain’s Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, visited Friday the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was received by the Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, His Excellency Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Minister of Defence Affairs, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, and the BDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, and several other senior officials.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed the advanced levels of the BDF’s combat readiness, competence, and efficiency under the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom’s pride in the BDF personnel's efforts to safeguard the Kingdom’s sovereignty and accomplishments, uphold its security and stability, and further the Kingdom’s comprehensive development.

During the visit, HRH the Deputy King praised the BDF’s efforts in furthering its tactical capability to safeguard the Kingdom and its citizens, noting the BDF’s vital role, alongside the armed forces of allied countries in consolidating security in the region.

His Royal Highness was briefed on the BDF’s strategic plans, programmes, and projects, which are being implemented to enhance its overall combat readiness.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed his gratitude to all the BDF’s personnel and wished them further success in their noble role safeguarding the Kingdom and its citizens.
