Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, attended Tuesday the graduation ceremony of a Royal Guard recruits’ course.
The event took place at Major Abdullah Rashid Al Nuaimi Square in Al Rawdah Camp, coinciding with the 57th anniversary of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force, and Major General Hamad Khalifa Al Nuaimi, Deputy Commander of the Royal Guard also attended the ceremony, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
The event began with the Royal Guard Commander’s salute, followed by a parade inspection and a recitation from the Holy Quran. Graduates then demonstrated military drills and practical exercises from their training programme.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad highlighted the Royal Guard’s continuous progress under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister. His Highness also commended the guidance of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, BDF Commander-in-Chief.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad commended the high level of military skills demonstrated by the graduates and the quality of their training. He also commended the instructors’ efforts in ensuring a professional standard and urged the graduates to remain committed to their duties with dedication and perseverance in defending the Kingdom.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad presented awards to top-performing graduates, after which they took the military oath.
In another development, Major General Ghanim Ibrahim Al Fadhala, Bahrain’s Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations attended the inauguration of a new military facility at the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). The event also coincided with celebrations marking the 57th anniversary of the BDF’s establishment.
During a tour of the facility, the Assistant Chief of Staff reviewed its various sections and expressed pride in the BDF’s achievements. He highlighted the continuous progress and development of the BDF’s advanced military systems and modern facilities.
He attributed it to the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the ongoing follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.
The Assistant Chief of Staff also commended the efforts of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, in advancing the force’s capabilities.
