The Egyptian Armed Forces organized a visit for a number of Arab and foreign Military Attachés accredited to their Embassies in the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Air Defense Forces Command.
This comes within the framework of the annual visits program of members of military representation to witness the outstanding evolution in the Armed Forces in its various main branches and specialized weapons, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The visit included a meeting with Lieutenant General Mohamed Hegazy, Commander of the Air Defense Forces, during which he expressed his appreciation for the visit of members of the military representation to the Air Defense Forces Command to witness the professional work system in which the Air Defense Forces operate.
He further indicated that the Air Defense Forces will remain the impenetrable bulwark against whoever thinks of attacking the skies of Egypt because of its advanced combat systems and a qualified combatant with all the elements that enable them to keep pace with modernization and development in modern air defense sciences and to carry out the tasks assigned to them to the fullest.
In addition, the delegation watched a documentary film on the tasks and capabilities of the Air Defense Forces, followed by a tour inside the Air Defense Forces Command, during which they listened to a detailed explanation of the extent of development that the Air Defense Forces is witnessing in its various disciplines, according to the latest international armament systems, which enables it to protect the skies of Egypt against all threats. This was followed by a visit to the historical hall, and an inspection of the Air Defense Forces technical research exhibition.
At the end of the tour, the Military Attaches expressed their gratitude for these visits and the importance they represent for strengthening military cooperation relations between the armed forces of their countries and the Egyptian armed forces, as well as their appreciation for the efforts and sacrifices made by the Air Defense Forces to keep Egypt’s skies safe against any threats.
