The Military Technical College in Egypt organized a scientific day for various scientific activities, in conjunction with obtaining a program accreditation certificate from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education for all academic programs.
The event included announcing the results of the Seventh International Military Technical College Competition for Innovation in Unmanned Systems (Lieutenant General. Ibrahim Selim prize), announcing the results of the Third International Satellite Competition, and two competitions, implemented for the first time, (Artificial Intelligence - Cybersecurity), as well as the announcement of the results of the Seventh International Undergraduate Research and Innovation, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
Major General Prof. Dr. Ismail Mohamed Kamal, Director of the Military Technical College, gave a welcoming speech to the attendees, pointing to the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to support all the various scientific activities of competitions, projects and innovations with the aim of raising the scientific level and creating the appropriate climate, to launch students’ creativity for the benefit of our beloved Egypt in various fields. He also directed thanks and appreciation to all parties participating in the scientific competitions, organized by the College.
After announcing the results, the winners of the first places in various competitions, and a number of students from Egyptian universities and the Military Technical College cadets, who implemented distinguished graduation projects, in addition to a number of faculty members with prestigious scientific titles were honored.
The annual scientific fair was also inaugurated, in which the distinguished graduation projects that were accomplished, in cooperation between the Military Technical College and the faculties of engineering in Egyptian universities, were presented, in addition to a display of the college staff members’ research activity.
The events were attended by Major General Khaled Kenawy, Assistant Minister of Defense, a number of Commanders of the Armed Forces, a group of public figures, the Military Technical College old staff members and graduates, a number of University Presidents, Deans of Engineering Faculties and Research Centers, a number of officials from the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Education and Technical education, as well as cadets of Military Colleges and Institutes, students of Egyptian Universities, a number of Military Attachés, and a number of foreign delegations.
