General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, met with a number of Commanders of the Armed Forces at the Joint Training Center of the Logistics Authority.
This comes within the framework of keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to continuously follow up and stand on methods of developing the performance of the Armed Forces and their national responsibilities in preserving Egyptian national security.
The meeting took place in the presence of Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Commanders of the main branches and a number of Senior Commanders of the Armed Forces, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The meeting included a presentation by a number of Commanders of the Armed Forces on the latest developments and challenges taking place at the present stage, the most important current events and their impact on the Egyptian national security, and what is related to the methods of work and ways within the Armed Forces to develop and modernize them in line with the developments that occur on the regional and international arenas.
General Mohamed Zaki delivered a speech during which he conveyed greetings and appreciation of Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and he, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, expressed his appreciation for the efforts and sacrifices made by the men of the Armed Forces in all strategic directions to fulfill the tasks and responsibilities to protect the homeland.
General Zaki also reviewed a number of subjects and issues related to the Egyptian national security and the most important challenges that the present stage is witnessing, stressing the importance of raising the awareness of the members of the Armed Forces, so that they are fully aware of all the events going on around them at all levels.
For his part, Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, praised the level of combat competence of the units and formations of the Armed Forces, pointing to the need to maintain the high training level of the fighters and high morale, in addition to the importance of being aware of all that is new in the specialized fields of work in order to maximize the benefit from all abilities and capabilities.
The meeting also included honoring the Military Colleges that won the first positions in the Physical Proficiency Championship of the Military Colleges for the year 2023.
At the end of the meeting, General Mohamed Zaki inspected an exhibition of the Logistics Authority, which reflected the extent of development witnessed by the Authority with all its specialized departments to carry out all the tasks assigned to them to the fullest.
