Under the Royal Patronage, the 10th Special Operations Forces Exhibition & Conference (SOFEX) kicks off today at the King Abdullah I Airbase in Marka that will reveal new ground-breaking technologies and equipment in the field of Special Operations and homeland security over the next 3 days (06-08 May).
The Exhibition was preceded by the 7th Middle East Special Operations Commanders Conference (MESOC) held on May 5th, 2014 at the Le Royal Hotel in Amman, Jordan. Entitled “Special Forces in the Age of Digital Warfare”, the Conference gathered Defense Ministers, Chiefs-of-Staff’s latest insights into a wide range of issues including counter piracy, search & rescue and peacekeeping missions.

Every two years SOFEX provides insight on the latest needs, trends and cutting edge technologies that provide the foundations for the modern Armies of today.
