The Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) took part for the first time in the Bucharest International Air Show (BIAS), which was held at Baneasa Airport, on Friday and Saturday.
Commander of the Air Transport Wing, Colonel Staff Pilot, Imad Bazadog, said: “RJAF participated this year in the air show for the first time with a C130 aircraft, in addition to a photo exhibition that contains activities and events for the armed forces, and pictures that show Jordan's tourism and cultural landmarks since the beginning of the establishment of the state until the present time,” Petra news agency reported.
The Bucharest International Air Show (BIAS) began in 2011, and a number of countries participate in performing air shows on fixed and mobile wing aircraft, while thousands of visitors from all over the world attend the show.
BIAS 2023 brought together over 100 civil and military aircraft and 150 pilots and paratroopers. This air force show reached its 13th edition, where civil and military aviation aces from Romania and other states delighted spectators with aerial acrobatics, elite demonstrations, and aircraft displayed in the General Aviation Exhibition.
