Saudi Arabia’s Chief of General Staff, General Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Qabil, inaugurated earlier this week the Exhibition of Land Forces for Equipment of Field Services (Riyadh, 27-30 May 2013).

Upon arrival at the venue, he was greeted by the Commander of Royal Saudi Land Forces Lieutenant General Eid Awwadh Al- Shalawi, and Prince Major General Fahd bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Commander of Royal Saudi Land Forces and Commander of the Units of Paratroopers and Special Forces.

General Al-Qabil toured the four-day Exhibition and watched the latest equipment for field services displayed by companies specializing in this area.

General Al-Qabil, also met on Thursday (29 May) the Commanders of Land Forces of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States.

During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Hussein, and Commander of Royal Saudi Land Forces Lieutenant General Eid Awwadh Al-Shalawi.

On Wednesday (28 May), General Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Qabil received in Riyadh the Assistant to the Chief of French Staff for International Relations Air Marshall Grasian Mir, who is the Chairman of the French side of the Saudi-French Military Coordination Committee, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed issues of common interest. (SPA)
