Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz received at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah Saturday the Commanders and senior officials at the Ministry of Defense (photo), who came to greet him on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

The Defense Minister conveyed greetings and congratulations of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on this blessed occasion.

Prince Khalid prayed for God to preserve the Kingdom, its leadership, and its people, and to perpetuate security, stability, and prosperity under the wise leadership, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz also received in Jeddah Saturday the Commanders of the Ministry along with senior civil and military officials, who came to extend their congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

For his part, the Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz extended the congratulations of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the employees of the Ministry of Interior on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. He expressed their appreciation to all security sectors for their exceptional efforts and dedication.

In a meeting with senior officials from the Ministry of Interior and Commanders of the security sector in Makkah, Prince Abdulaziz stressed that the tremendous support and continuous guidance from the wise leadership played a major role in the successful organization of the security and military sectors’ plans that secured a safe and comfortable atmosphere for Umrah performers and worshippers.

Earlier, the Minister of Interior made a follow-up Friday on the progress of operations at the Grand Mosque Security Operations Center.

During his inspection visit, he listened to a briefing from the Director-General of Public Security, Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, about the positive results achieved through the security plans previously implemented to serve pilgrims during this year's Umrah season, reviewing the efforts of the security forces involved in the Umrah mission.

The Minister of Interior also reviewed the latest technologies used in organizing movement through advanced data analysis using artificial intelligence, which has contributed to ensuring the smooth movement of Umrah performers and worshippers at the Grand Mosque.

He commended the efforts of the security personnel during the implementation stages of the security plans for Umrah, directing them to continue their efforts.

Several senior officials and high-ranking officers from the Interior Ministry and other agencies accompanied the Minister during his visit.
