Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, graced the administrative military parade of the Royal Saudi Armed Forces held at the Military Parade square in King Khalid Military City in Hafr Al-Baten on Tuesday 29 April 2014.
Prince Salman was accompanied by Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region; Prince Jelawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Region; Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet's Member, Chief of Crown Prince's Court and Special Adviser, and Prince Bandar bin Salman bin Abdulaziz,
Upon his arrival, the Crown Prince was received by Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of defense; Chief of General Staff General Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Qabil; Deputy Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Bunyan; and Commander of Northern Region Major General Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mutair.
Immediately after the arrival of the Crown Prince, the Royal Anthem was played. Then the Crown Prince boarded an open wagon and reviewed symbolic units of the Armed Forces in the northern region.
Meanwhile, General Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, arrived in Hafar Al Baten on Monday to attend the closing ceremony of the military exercise “Abdullah’s Sword”, carried out by the Saudi Armed Forces.
Upon his arrival at King Khalid Military Airport, Sheikh Mohammad was received by Prince Saud Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, and other senior Saudi officials.
Sheikh Mohammad was accompanied by Sheikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and other sheikhs and senior officials.
Similarly, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Monday at the invitation of HRH Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend the closing ceremony of the joint exercise
King Hamad was received, at the King Saud Military Airbase, by Eastern Province Governor HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Deputy Defense Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Abulaziz Al-Saud, Eastern Province Deputy Governor HH Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Mosaad Al-Saud, Ambassador of Bahrain to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Hamood bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and senior Saudi officials.
