The Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (also Minister of Defense), received in Jeddah Wednesday the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Yemen Major General Mohammed Nasser Ahmed.
The Yemeni Defense Minister conveyed during the audience a verbal message to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud from President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi of the Republic of Yemen; and conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Yemeni President to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. For his part, the Prince sent his greetings and appreciation to the President.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of the existing bilateral relations between the two countries and matters of common concern.
The audience was attended by Assistant Minister of Defense Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ayesh; Deputy Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili; and a number of senior officials.
Earlier, Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier, Advisor to and Special Envoy of the Saudi King received at his palace in Jeddah on Tuesday evening Yemeni Defense Minister Major General Mohammed Nasser Ahmed.
The audience was attended by the Consultant and General Supervisor at the Deputy Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier’s office Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Hawas and the Saudi Military Attaché in Sana’a Brigadier General Muzker bin Abdulrahman Al-Harthi.
