Royal Saudi Air Force F-15C Eagles flew in formation with a U.S. Air Force F-15C Eagles in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, June 2, 2019.

The Mission was conducted as part of a larger effort to continue building military-to-military relationships and interoperability, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.

SPA also announced that a Saudi naval task group arrived in Amman, Jordan on Saturday to take part in Abdullah 6 joint exercise which coincides with the start of the same drill at the headquarters of the western sector of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The mission was received by the Saudi Military Attaché in Amman Brigadier General Khalid bin Ribaiaan Al-Ribaiaan.

The sixth version of the drill will last for eleven days and aims at enhancing the military ties and cooperation, particularly ways to upgrade fighting preparedness and combat terrorist operations in the two countries. 

Drill Director Colonel Abdulla Al-Omari said that the joint training aims to enhance capabilities and exchange expertise in military field and counter terrorism and defusing explosives, in addition to enhancing combat readiness.
