UAE Delivers 3 Puma to Lebanon

The UAE has delivered three Puma military helicopters to Lebanon on the second batch of 10 helicopters committed to boost capabilities of the Lebanese armed forces. The delivery is in line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
A reception was held on Friday at the air-base in Rafiq Al Hariri International Airport in Beirut to celebrate the delivery of helicopters. It was attended by Rahma Hussein Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, and members of the UAE Armed Forces delegation.

In a speech delivered on his behalf by Colonel Louis Hanna, Chief of Staff for Logistics, General Jean Qahwaji, Commander of the Lebanese Army, thanked the UAE for the valuable assistance offered to Lebanon. In his speech, Al Zaabi praised the strong and deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries.
