The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) will organize a workshop in February on Innovative Leadership in Health Care - Muscat 2019 in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB), Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH) and Medical Services of the Armed Forces.

In holding this workshop, the RNO initiative, represented by Marine Medicine, stems from its belief in partnership with the local community, opening the horizons of modern leadership thinking in the management of institutions and human resources in a modern manner to leaders and executives from various government institutions.

According to Oman News Agency (ONA), the program includes theoretical and practical training in the principles of innovative leadership and health management, modernizing technological management tools, developing the health system, developing skills of health service providers, and ensuring that they have the best skills to provide good health services.

The workshop aims to create a common environment for competent leaders to excel in the field of administrative work, to be capable of keeping abreast of recent developments and to enable them to respond effectively to the rapid changes in the business environments in general and the health work environment in particular.
