09.11.2010 Qatar
The Qatar Emiri Navy reaffirmed its confidence in DCI-NAVFCO by entrusting the company with the organization of an advanced level course. This course concerns the use of the combat system “TACTICOS” equipping its class Barzan patrol boats.
Although the concerned combat system is not French made, since 2008 the Qatar Emiri Navy has called on DCI-NAVFCO, the DCI's naval department, to deliver training for the benefit of its crews. In a regular way, DCI-NAVFCO instructor teams have been delivering different level trainings in Qatar since.
The aim of these in situ trainings is to give the opportunity to Qatar officers and petty officers to acquire a strong knowledge on the combat systems equipping its patrol boats.
"We are pleased and proud to note that the Qatar Emiri Navy has once again entrusted us with the training of its officers and petty officers after the training of its cadets at the Naval Academy." said Admiral François Dupont, DCI-NAVFCO's Executive Vice President. “We intend to pursue this collaboration with the Qatar Emiri Navy and to extend our scope of actions to wider training fields “
