The UAE Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has paid a visit to the UAE forces tasked with delivering humanitarian aid and assisting in the reconstruction efforts and in maintaining security and stability in Afghanistan.

Sheikh Abdullah conveyed to members of the UAE force greetings of The President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

He also conveyed to them greetings of the UAE people and their appreciation of the humanitarian role and efforts in realizing the UAE mission of assisting people of friendly countries
