Sheikh Hazza also acquainted himself with the efforts being made to emiritize the UAE's military industry on directives from the wise leadership to allow national expertise to take part in the development of the various sectors in the country.
There, he was briefed on the technical specifications of Caracal International products like Caracal CAR 816 assault rifle, the CC-10 semi-auto carbine, and various types of pistols.
Later, he inspected Caracal International's Research and Development (R&D) Centre which uses state-of-the-art equipment and technologies and highly-experienced teams to foster the capabilities of nationals in this specialized sector.
Sheikh Hazza concluded his tour at the firearms and ammunition testing centre, one of the most advanced labs of its type in the Middle East for ensuring the safety and quality of products.
Sheikh Hazza was accompanied during the tour by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri, CEO of Tawazun, and Hamad Salim Al Ameri, Chief Executive Officer of Caracal International.
