UAE Defense Minister Receives French Counterpart

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received Jean-Yves Le Drian, French Minister of Defense Sunday, UAE national news agency WAM reported.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Le Drian and his accompanying delegation, and discussed bilateral relations and ways of developing them to serve the interest of both countries and peoples. They also reviewed aspects of cooperation in a number of military and defense fields between the UAE and France.

The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and the French Defense Minister also discussed issues of common interest, current developments and efforts to achieve security, peace and stability in the region.

A number of senior officials attended the meeting.
