Saudi and United States forces launched Sunday the Friendship Military Exercises 2018’ taking place in the Kingdom’s northern region, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

US forces participating in the military drills arrived days earlier with all its military personnel and technical equipment.

The military exercises are taking place over several days and aim to strengthen mutual military relations between the two sides.

The Assistant Training Director Brigadier General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Buqmi (photo) confirmed to Riyadh Daily “the readiness the Saudi Forces participants and equipment to carry out the exercise activities as planned”.
