Airbus D&S Showcases Cyber Threat Solutions at ISNR 2016

Airbus Defence and Space, a key player in the cyber security market in Europe will present cutting-edge cyber security products and services at the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR) 2016 to help governments and sensitive industry deal with the increasingly complex and unpredictable nature of cyber attacks. The ISNR in Abu Dhabi is taking place from 15th to 17thMarch.

Advanced Cyber security capabilities including the innovative Cyber Security Centre services will be an important part of the Airbus Defence and Space offering this year. Cyber Security Centre gathers tools and expertise to monitor, detect, investigate and counter cyber attacks.

Thanks to unique threat intelligence capability, these services include early detection of attacks, investigation, remediation and 24/7 anticipation of advanced attacks. This solution named Keelback Net combines signature tracking and the detection of behaviour that reveals activities of attackers. Innovation consists of a real-time identification and characterization of cyber threats with the help of a continuously updated database as well as advanced detection of attacks through combination of capabilities working on network and clients of customers’ infrastructure.

Guy Meguer, General Managerof CyberSecurity at Airbus Defence and Space in the Middle East, said: “Keelback Net has recently been selected by the international French-speaking television channel TV5MONDE to combat APT - Advanced Persistent Threats in the wake of the cyber attack on the television network on the 8thof April last year. This sensor, which has been implemented by Airbus Defence and Space in record time, is now part of the global TV5MONDE information system’s security plan. Keelback Net has also been selected by countries in the Middle East.”

In addition, the Stormshield range of Network and Endpoint Security solutions will be shown. They are dedicated to protect networks and computers from cyber attacks.

The International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR) is the region’s foremost platform dedicated to homeland security, safety and national resilience which takes place every two years in ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, organized by the UAE Ministry of Interior and Reed Exhibitions.

ISNR 2016 is expecting 500 exhibiting companies from 45 countries spreading over 27000sqm, in addition to 18,000 local and regional experts and decision makers from the private and public sectors and over 150 regional and international government buyers and delegation members.

ISNR 2016 will include three specialized sections for Homeland Security and National Resilience, Information Security, and Critical Infrastructure Security - together with two co-located events dedicated to Fire and Emergency Middle East and Occupational Safety and Health Middle East co-organized by OSHAD Abu Dhabi.

ISNR will also feature the International Conference on Security Challenges, Cyber Crime Conference and Occupational Safety and Health Conference in addition to specialized workshops and a world class Live Action on Responding to Crisis and Emergencies.
