Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, inspected the main laboratories of chemical protection within the framework of General Command of the Armed Forces' keenness on continuous field follow-up of the work system in all specialized departments of the Armed Forces.

Staff Major General Sami Mustafa Ali Moussa, Director of the Department, reviewed the work system in the main laboratories, their readiness, and the level of their scientific and technical efficiency, the Egyptian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

This is part of the development and modernization system implemented by the Armed Forces in all its specialized branches. He thanked the General Command of the Armed Forces for the continuous support it provides to the department, which enables it to carry out all the tasks entrusted to it in the best possible way.

Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, conveyed the greetings and appreciation of General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, to the personnel of the department for their efforts in performing their tasks with dedication and loyalty. He also discussed with a number of officers the method of carrying out their tasks, praising what he saw of their distinguished performance and ability to carry out all the tasks entrusted to them with efficiency and competence.

The inspection tour was attended by number of Armed Forces Commanders.
