The meeting was held Thursday at the Saudi Ministry’s headquarters in Jeddah.

Prince Abdulaziz said the meeting aimed to strengthen the ongoing security cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, based on the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Prince Abdulaziz highlighted the efforts of working teams from the two sides to implement several initiatives that contribute to enhancing joint security operations and providing additional facilities for the Saudi and Bahraini peoples.

General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah said the visit reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen security cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He underscored the deep-rooted ties between the two countries under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

He commended the initiatives implemented in the previous phase, describing them as a turning point in security cooperation.
