Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) is participating in the inaugural Global Aerospace Summit, being held April 16-18 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Presented by Mubadala Aerospace, the event provides a forum for thought leaders from government, academia and the aerospace industry to share their perspectives and growth strategies for the future while promoting partnerships aimed at strengthening the overall global aerospace community.
“It is an honor for Northrop Grumman to be invited to participate in this inaugural Global Aerospace Summit. The opportunity to exchange ideas with a wide spectrum of participants will be invaluable in providing long-term capability solutions that will help enhance defense and national security across the Gulf Region,” said Gene Fraser, Vice President, Aerospace Engineering, Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems.
Northrop Grumman's strong relationship with nations in the region has been built on a legacy of trust and performance. Northrop Grumman has had an active presence in the Middle East for decades with its regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi and has well established partnerships with the United Arab Emirates and other countries in the region in support of a variety of defense and civil programs.
In November 2007, Northrop Grumman signed a memorandum of understanding with Mubadala Aerospace to collaborate on various high technology aerospace and aviation education and training programs aimed at further strengthening the Emirate's economic development strategy.
