H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Interior and Deputy Prime Minister, opened the 5th edition of the International Security and National Resilience (ISNR) Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

A large gathering of government officials, companies, experts, exhibitors, media representatives and special guests attended the inaugural day.

Running until Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ISNR Abu Dhabi 2012 features the world’s best homeland security (HLS) solutions under one roof.

Over 220 exhibitors from more than 24 countries are exhibiting products and services for Border and Transport Security; Intelligence and Threat Assessment; Critical Infrastructure Protection; Emergency Preparedness & Response; Counter Terrorism; and Resilience (Crisis Management).

An important component of the expo is the ISNR 2012 Conference which runs daily from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The conference was opened by H.H. Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Shafarr, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Interior.

The 5th International Security and National Resilience Exhibition and Conference is fully supported by the UAE Ministry of Interior and is being held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces. Its sponsors include Strategic Partner Tawazun Holding, Abu Dhabi’s Critical National Infrastructure Authority, the UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, Abu Dhabi Airport Company and Rheinmetall Defence.
