The UAE continues to strengthen its global presence in the defence and aerospace industries with its participation in the 7th edition of the Bahrain International Airshow.
The UAE National Pavilion is organised by the Emirates Defence Companies Council (EDCC), with continuous support from the UAE Ministry of Defence and Tawazun Council. This reflects the commitment to enhancing the global exposure of its leading companies, particularly in the defence industry and opening new channels for cooperation in regional and international markets.
The Pavilion features a selection of Emirati companies specialising in developing advanced defence systems and equipment, aiming to present their latest innovations and products that meet the highest international standards and keep pace with sector advancements.
The participating companies include Adasi, Halcon, Caracal, Barij Dynamics and Barij Munitions all part of EDGE Group, AMROC, GAL, MIRA Aerospace, and UAE Space Agency, alongside Al-Jundi Magazine, the media partner of the UAE National Pavilion, UAE national news agency WAM reported.
Taking place at the Al Sakhir Airbase until 15th November, Bahrain International Airshow is one of the leading global exhibitions specialising in the aviation and defence sectors. The event will feature more than 20 government and semi-government entities from Bahrain, 11 exhibition sponsors, 223 official delegations from 59 countries, and over 186 exhibitors. Additionally, 12 international companies specialising in airport ground services from the European Union, Asia, and the Americas will be participating for the first time.
The exhibition provides an international platform for displaying the latest innovations and discussing strategies in defence and aviation. The event spans 14,000 square meters to showcase the latest products and technologies, while the static aircraft display covers 86,000 square metres, featuring over 120 types of aircraft in both static and aerial displays.

Mona Ahmed Al Jaber, Chairwoman of the EDCC, emphasised that participation in the Bahrain International Airshow “is a valuable opportunity for our national companies to showcase their industrial and technological capabilities alongside global industry leaders.”
“The UAE’s participation in Bahrain International Airshow is part of a series of international engagements aimed at expanding the scope of global partnerships and exchanging expertise, contributing to achieving the strategic objectives of the EDCC in enhancing relationships and cooperation between national and international companies,” she noted.
Bahrain International Airshow is featuring a comprehensive programme of air displays and specialised seminars, attracting leading experts and decision-makers from the aerospace and defence sectors and fostering international dialogue on the most pressing challenges and developments in the industry.
