Qatar Armed Forces Conclude Joint Exercise with GCC, US Forces

Qatar Armed Forces concluded the joint Decisive Eagle-25 Exercise, which was implemented with the participation of GCC forces and friendly US forces.

The exercise aimed to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences between Qatar Armed Forces and the countries participating in the exercise, upgrade the level of the forces participating in all specialisations, raise efficiency, combat readiness and training in the implementation of the tasks of mixed-multinational force and confront the threats and challenges that the region may face.

Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai opened the exercise, after which the stages of the exercise continued, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

The first stage the Senior Commanders’ Symposium, which was attended by a number of officers and heads of delegations, followed by the stage of main training for forces participating in the exercise, where the trainees received lectures that helped them unify concepts to come out with the greatest possible benefit from the exercise.

A cybersecurity course for a number of trainees from participating countries in the exercise was simultaneously given.

In the third stage, the Command Centres’ exercise (CPX) began, and in the fourth stage was the Air Field Exercise (FTX), in which Qatar Amiri Air Force participated with F15fighters, Rafale, Typhoon, drones, Apache and Agusta aircraft.

The Saudi Royal Air Force also participated with F15 aircraft, as well as the US Air Force with F15, F16, and aircraft A10. The aircraft trained on air-to-air fueling operations.

The Air Defence Forces were also trained to work on the integrated missile defense system with the participating countries and activate early warning between countries.
