On 08 March 2019, Chantal DOGNIN, ARQUUS’ Senior Vice-President, Human Resources and Communication, was presented the Légion d’Honneur, France’s highest award. She is the first woman from ARQUUS to ever receive the medal.

The presentation of the Légion d’Honneur, which was presided by General Jean-Christophe BECHON, Director of the Center for High Military Studies, is received as a sign of appreciation for ARQUUS’ long-term commitment in social responsibility.

Building on that historic relationship with the French society, Chantal DOGNIN is constantly renewing ARQUUS’ commitment for Defense charitable works, by developing several associative actions, partnerships and patronages. Human Resources Director, Chantal DOGNIN also implements values such as personal development and solidarity throughout the whole company.

Under her leadership, diversity is promoted as an asset, which diversifies the profiles and reinforces the company’s pool of competence. ARQUUS has notably implemented a plan to promote diversity, a committee dedicated to equal treatment, as well as a week for diversity.

Within Arquus, the professional equality score for 2019, which has been calculated according to the decree published by the French government on January 8th, 2019, is 72 out of 100.

At the heart of the industrial, and of the Defense worlds which both are historically male sectors, this score is the result of a continued and committed policy on diversity and equal opportunity, driven every day by all the company’s directions, starting with the Human Resources.

As part of this determined commitment, ARQUUS, partner of the French Defense, contributes to the professional reinsertion of wounded soldiers, by helping them to join ARQUUS’ teams.

Standing next to the Ministry of the Armies, ARQUUS adopts Minister Florence Parly’s words and fights to “give everybody the will to commit to the service of Defense”.

Business Area of the Volvo AB Group, ARQUUS is one of the three members of the short-term consortium to which the French Ministry of Defense awarded the Scorpion contract. The Group will be participating in the development of the new generation of wheeled armored personnel carriers for the French Army: the VBMR (multi-role armored vehicle) and the EBRC (armored reconnaissance and combat vehicle).

ARQUUS also supplies the powertrains and close defense remote control systems operated by these two vehicles. The company will also provide full logistics for spare parts and subsystems for the Griffon and Jaguar vehicles.
