Following the takeover of Panhard by Renault Trucks Defense, Gérard Amiel is succeeding Christian Mons at the helm of the light armored vehicles manufacturer.

Gérard Amiel, 59, an engineer from the Arts & Métiers industrial art and design institute (1976) and graduate of the INSEAD business school (1987), is also keeping his position as CEO of Renault Trucks Defense.

“With this new organization, we will be able to develop synergies between Renault Trucks Defense, ACMAT and Panhard, and optimize the Group’s marketing strength,” explained Gérard Amiel.

Christian Mons becomes one of the Vice-Presidents of the Volvo Group Governmental Sales Business Area.
