Bahrain Coast Guard Commander Meets Royal Navy Official

Commander of the Bahraini Coast Guard Brigadier Alaa Siyadi received Director of International Training at the British Royal Navy Forces, Lieutenant-Colonel John Welch., Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

The Commander welcomed the guest and hailed the historical ties between the two countries. He highlighted the importance of exchanging visits to promote the friendly ties between the two countries, especially in maritime security. Topics of common interests were discussed.

Meanwhile, Staff Director of the National Guard Major General Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa received in Manama the Advisor at the Saudi Eastern Region Province Dr. Sheikh Ghazi Abudulaziz Al-Shammari.

The Staff Director welcomed the visit of Dr. Sheikh Ghazi Abudulaziz Al-Shammari, calling for the need to instill the precepts of the Islamic religion in the younger generations.

He commended the tremendous efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia in promoting the religious knowledge and values.

Dr. Sheikh Ghazi Abudulaziz Al-Shammari lauded the kingdom's status as a land of co-existence and fraternity.

“Bahrain is an oasis of co-existence between all its segments,” he said.

They discussed the Ramadan religious program, prepared in collaboration with the National Guard in Bahrain. The program tackles Islamic tolerant precepts.

The Staff Director presented Sheikh Al-Shammari with the National Guard Shield in recognition of his efforts.
