Bahrain’s Defense Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Yussef bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma, received in Manama the Abu Dhabi-based Canadian Military Attaché to Bahrain, Martin Laflamme (photo).
The Minister welcomed the Canadian Military Attaché, and lauded relations between the two friendly countries, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Martin Laflamme separately met with Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
The Commander-in-Chief welcomed the Canadian Military Attaché, and discussed with him ways to enhance the good relations between the two friendly countries.
Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa also received the Riyadh-based South African Military Attaché to Bahrain, Colonel Dirk Jacobs.
He welcomed the South African Military Attaché, and lauded relations between the two friendly countries.
Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi, Assistant Chief-of- Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Yussif Ahmed Malallah, and Military Cooperation Director Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al Sada, attended both meetings.
Lastly, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received Yemen’s Military Attaché to Bahrain, Mohammed Mohammed Saleh Al-Ahmer, and discussed aspects of cooperation and joint interests.
Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Supply and Logistics Rear Admiral Yusuf Ahmed Malallah was also present.
