Bahraini-British Military Committee Meets in Manama

The Bahraini-British Joint Military Cooperation Committee concluded its meeting at Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Officers Club Thursday under the chairmanship of Bahrain’s Defense Minister Lt. General Yusef bin Ahmed Al Jalahma and David Hogan-Hern (photo).

 

The two sides discussed issues on the meeting agenda, including boosting military cooperation between the two friendly countries. They signed minutes of the meeting and exchanged commemorative gifts, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.


The Defense Minister held at the BDF Officers Club a lunch banquet in honor of David Hogan-Hern and his accompanying delegation.


The conclusion of the meeting was attended by Inspector General Major General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi, Supply and Catering Director Major General Ali Saqr Al Nuaimi, Military Cooperation Director Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al-Sadah, Maintenance and Technical Supply Director Rear Admiral Anwar Al Jowder and Senior Officers.

 

Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received David Hogan-Hern and his accompanying delegation in the occasion of his visit to Bahrain to chair the British side at the Bahraini-British Joint Military Cooperation Committee meeting.

 

Bahrain’s Defense Minister Lt. General Yusef bin Ahmed Al Jalahma and Chief-of- Staff Lt. General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi also attended the meeting.

 

The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the British official and his accompanying delegation, lauding outstanding relations of friendship between Bahrain and the United Kingdom. He also praised the role of the Bahraini-British Joint Military Cooperation Committee.

 

Present at the meeting was Inspector General Major General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi.
