The “Dawn of Storms/22” mobilization exercise, carried out by the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF), concluded Monday.
The drill was implemented by RBNF with the participation of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) weaponries and units, the Interior Ministry’s Coastguard and the National Guard, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
The concluding ceremony was attended by RBNF Acting Commander Commodore Mohammed Yussef Al-Asam and Captain Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The aim of such exercises is to hone the military capabilities of the participants and boost their competence by enriching their experience and field skills. The “Dawn of Storms” drill aims to enhance combat, operational and tactical readiness to handle different threats on the combat fields and provide a sound military ground to protect sea borders, combat terrorism, infiltration and sabotage.
The participants performed a number of specialized training programs through which they proved high competence and professionalism in carrying out the duties assigned with them.
Meanwhile,Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received Monday the BDF task force that took part in the Joint Gulf Shield 1 drill.
He welcomed the task force’s Commander, lauding the success made in the military exercise and the high competence shown in attaining the goals assigned with them.
