Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense (BDF), Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, paid a visit to the Royal Command, Staff and National Defense College (RCSC), Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Upon arrival, he was welcomed by the Chief-of-Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, Inspector-General Major-General, Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi, RCSC Commandant, Rear Admiral Abdulla Said Al-Mansoori, Commandant of the Royal Defense Force’s Training Centre, Major-General Jaber bin Abdulla bin Huwail and a number of senior BDF officers.
Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed was briefed on the implementation progress of RCSC’s development plans and programs.
Topics related to ways to develop specialized training programs and enhance the quality of education and training at RCSC were also discussed.
While chairing RCSC’s Supreme Council, the BDF Commander-in-Chief lauded the key role played by RCSC in the field of military education, noting that the college aims to prepare officers who are equipped with all requirements of modern military fields.
He pointed out that the BDF is interested in developing RCSC’s curricula so to prepare qualified human resources that are capable of dealing with the latest military technology.
The Commander-in-Chief stressed that thanks to the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, the BDF has always attained landmark achievements, highlighting the efforts being exerted to enhance scientific military monuments.
He wished RCSC’s officials further success in achieving all goals related to specialized training programs offered at the college.
For his part, Chief-of-Staff of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi attended at the Royal Defense Force Training Centre a graduation ceremony of a specialized officers’ session in which a number of officers from the National Guard and the Saudi Armed Forces participated.
Commandant of the Royal Defense Force Training Centre Major General Jaber Abdullah bin Hewil gave a speech on the occasion. Then, Commandant of the of the Officers’ Wing presented a brief account on the main training programs included in the session. After that, the BDF Chief-of-Staff presented the graduates with prizes of appreciation.
The ceremony was attended by Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Human Resources Major General Sheikh Ali bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Military Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Bahrain Brigadier Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Temimi and senior BDF Officers.
