Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Receives Graduate Officers

Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received fresh graduate officers from military colleges and universities to confer military ranks and oath taking, in the presence of Defense Affairs Minister Lt-General Yousef bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

 

The Commander-in-Chief congratulated the officers on their recent graduation, commended their efforts throughout their course of study and urged them to avail from their knowledge and expertise to develop capacities and translate their multidisciplinary knowledge and expertise into practical reality in various BDF sectors and units along with their brethren on the basis of proficiency thanks to the patronage and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, The Supreme Commander; and, with follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, citing the vivid example of Air Force Lt. Sheikha Aisha bint Rashid Al Khalifa in her unprecedented accomplishment in the history of Royal Bahrain Air Force (RBAF).

 

Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa urged the officers to the duty of efficiently and faithfully working along with their brethren in the BDF in new phase in the military field joining the BDF battalions and units to implement and apply their theoretical and practical knowledge as well as field training passed during their course of study.

 

The top commander provided the officers with his directives and instructions to continue their pursuit of knowledge, to benefit from the BDF training programs and contribute in in the Kingdom’s ongoing development march under the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, The Supreme Commander, wishing them success.

 

Defense Ministry Undersecretary Major-General Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, General Command Headquarters Director Major-General Hasan Mohamed Saad, Acting Chief-of-Staff Major-General Abdullah Hasan Al Nuaimi, and Senior BDF Officers were also present during the ceremony.
