Bahrain’s Coast Guard Commander Major-General Ala’a Siyadi (photo) inaugurated the 16th specialized maritime science training course organized by the Maritime Training Wing at the Coast Guard’s base, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
A batch of 25 commissioned officers from the Coast Guard, Royal Bahrain Navy Force are taking part, in addition to Saudi Border Guard, Kuwait Coast Guard and UAE Coastline Guard.
The four-month course covers subjects related to mapping, high and low tides and navigation devices. The Commander said the course was part of the annual training of 2018. He wished the best to all the participants in the course which aims at enhancing their efficiency.
