The Royal Bahrain Air Force (RBAF) - Air Defense Wing - successfully carried out a live fire exercise with Hawk missiles (photo) at a Shooting Range at Al Macatra, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
RBAF’s Commander Air Vice-Marshal Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and UAE Air Force and Air Defense’s Commander Air Vice-Marshal Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi attended the exercise, which was within the framework of joint military cooperation between the two air forces.
The joint live fire exercise reflects the Air Defense Wing's capably to hit targets with high accuracy. It promotes field expertise, joint air defense planning and coordination, in addition to raising military efficiency and combat readiness, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The implementation of the exercise in the United Arab Emirates highlights the strength of the bilateral relations supported by keenness of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and UAE President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to further boost them in various fields.
Meanwhile, the Royal Bahrain Air Force (RBAF) aircraft have continued implementation of the ongoing ‘Hamad 3’ Joint Exercise in Manama with the participation of Egyptian military aircraft in Bahrain skies.
The tactical training and maneuvers took place according to preset plan aimed to develop operational readiness and exchange expertise with the Egyptian Army’s Air Force.
The participating weaponry demonstrated high precision, coordinated implementation of their duties throughout the drill stages, focusing on quality training to tackle all threats.
