General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, inspected the Engineering Industrial Complex at the Vehicles Department, in the presence of Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and several Armed Forces commanders.
The inspection comes within the framework of the General Command of the Armed Forces' keenness on the field follow-up of the technical insurance system for vehicles in the Armed Forces, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces listened to a detailed presentation from Major General Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Director of the Vehicles Department, on the projects of the Engineering Industrial Complex at the Vehicles Department and the aspects of cooperation with the specialized departments. He also inspected several production lines of the specialized centers within the complex.
General Mohamed Zaki conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the personnel of the Vehicles Department. He praised the distinguished performance and high morale of the complex workers and their ability to work in an integrated fabric that contributes to maximizing the benefit from the available energies and capabilities.
The Engineering Industries Complex is one of the most important institutions that the Armed Forces has been keen to support its combat and technical capabilities.
