The activities of the International Scientific Conference concluded at the Military Technical College of Egypt and included five scientific conferences:
- The 21st International Conference on Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering
- The 15th International Conference on Civil and Architectural Engineering
- The 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering
- The 12th International Conference on Chemical and Environmental Engineering,
- The 12th International Conference on Mathematical and Engineering Physics.
The Conference lasted for several days within the framework of the General Command of the Egyptian Armed Forces keenness on scientific research and keeping pace with the successive developments in advanced sciences, engineering studies, and technology.
During the opening session of the Conference, Major General Dr. Moataz Ibrahim Abu El-Nour, Commandant of the Military Technical College, delivered a speech conveying greetings and appreciation of General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, to the participants from various countries in the Conference.
He also expressed his hope that the Conference and what it includes of researches and workshops would achieve the desired goal of enriching research work, raising the educational and cognitive level, and exchanging experiences among participating researchers, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
Participating in the Conference, which was executed with a Hybrid system for scientific articles, were (53) Universities from (23) Arab and foreign countries and (76) Egyptian Universities and Institutes.
Researchers discussed (247) research papers in (52) scientific sessions through (375) referees. (29) sessions for keynote speakers were held in the Conference, (3) panel discussions, and the latest research in various scientific and engineering fields was presented, analyzed, and discussed.
The Conference aims to provide an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences and scientific ideas, whether through direct communication with researchers or through video conference technology, contributing to the advancement of research work in various fields.
Major General Khalid Shawky, Assistant Minister of Defense, and a number of Armed Forces leaders, University Presidents, Deans of Faculties, and public figures attended the proceedings of the Conference.
