In continuation of developing a high-level medical education and rehabilitation system within Egyptian military medical institutions in collaboration with major international institutions, the Military Medical Academy of Egypt has witnessed ceremonies of renewing its accreditation as an educational and training center for the Royal College of Surgeons of England in the Arab and Middle East region.

The Hyperbaric Medical Institute, as well as the Aerospace Medical Institute, were also accredited as distinguished centers in the field of medical education, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense reported.

During the ceremonies, Major General Dr. Tarek Refaat El-Nagdi, President of the Military Medical Academy, delivered a speech highlighting the academy's efforts in qualifying medical personnel, both Egyptian and international, in the fields of specialized studies, medical research, and practical application, adhering to the highest standards of medical education quality.

He further emphasized the Academy’s commitment to keeping pace with successive scientific advancements to train generations of doctors equipped with the latest specialized medical sciences.

Dr. Tim Mitchell, President of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, also delivered a speech praising the collaboration with the Academy to enhance cooperation in the field of medical education, commending the distinguished level of the Military Medical Academy.
