General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, inspected last week various stages of physical and skill training for cadets of the Egyptian Military Academy and students in several civilian courses.
The visit was attended by Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, along with commanders of the main branches and several military leaders, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense reported.
The Commander-in-Chief observed a number of daily physical training exercises designed to maintain top physical readiness among the cadets. He then toured several upgraded training grounds, including equestrian fields and various activities related to the physical and military training of the cadets. These exercises, carried out under the most advanced preparation and training systems, showcased the cadets’ high levels of self-discipline and confidence.
The Commander-in-Chief emphasized the importance the General Command places on the thorough preparation and training of cadets, ensuring that they graduate as battle-ready officers, fully capable of executing the critical tasks required to defend the nation’s sovereignty and protect its sacred values.
At the end of the tour, General Abdel Majeed Saqr met with the cadets of the Military Academy and students of several civilian courses, joining them for breakfast. He conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to all present.
He praised the outstanding level of preparation he observed among the cadets and urged them to be diligent in their training, acquire knowledge, maintain their physical fitness, while adhering to the esteemed principles of the Egyptian military, thus ensuring the sustained strength and legacy of the Armed Forces.
Furthermore, the Commander-in-Chief congratulated the final-year cadets on their imminent graduation, wishing them success in their professional lives. He expressed his gratitude to those responsible for overseeing the admission tests for new academy batches, commending them for following all advanced scientific procedures that ensure equality, transparency, and integrity in selecting the best candidates to join the ranks of the Armed Forces.
