The Egyptian Armed Forces Moral Affairs Department, in collaboration with the Egyptian Council for Training & Development, organized the national program “National Leadership Development Strategy,” which took place over four days in September.

This comes in line with the political leadership’s directives to build the Egyptian character under the New Republic Strategy, and as part of the Armed Forces General Command commitment to cooperate with various state institutions to contribute to preparing national cadres equipped with knowledge to achieve sustainable development goals,

The program began with a speech by Major General Tarek Mohamed Helal, Director of the Moral Affairs Department, who emphasized that the program aims to enable anyone in a leadership position within the Egyptian state to perform their role creatively from a strategic perspective within a cohesive national system to achieve Egypt's strategic vision, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

Many national leaders from various state institutions and bodies, as well as Armed Forces personnel, participated in the program. Special attention was given to including people with disabilities, reflecting the political leadership’s commitment to empowering and integrating them into all national programs and initiatives implemented by the state.

The program covered various topics related to the challenges facing the Egyptian state, their impact on Egyptian national security, how to address them, and the importance of understanding correct thinking and combating extremist ideologies to enhance the national leadership model and support the pillars of Egyptian national security.

The Moral Affairs Department, in coordination with the National Training and Education Council and with the participation of distinguished university professors and strategic experts, ensured maximum benefit for the participants.

The activities concluded with honoring outstanding individuals from various state agencies, institutions, religious figures, and people with disabilities. Certificates of appreciation were awarded, and commemorative photos were taken.

Participants praised the organization and preparation of the program and expressed their gratitude to the Armed Forces and the National Training and Education Council for organizing such programs, which provide an opportunity to enrich their understanding to face the challenges confronting the Egyptian state.
