The Egyptian Military Academy welcomed Brigadier General Stéphane Richot, the French Land Forces International Cooperation Official, along with his accompanying delegation, at its new headquarters within the Strategic Command in the New Administrative Capital.
The visit was attended by Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commandant of the Egyptian Military Academy, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The visit began with a documentary film highlighting the Academy’s history, development, and its role in graduating successive generations of Officers trained with the latest scientifically proven methods. The film also emphasized the Academy’s role in preparing civilian personnel working in various government sectors, using the highest scientific standards tailored to the specific needs of their work.
The delegation then toured specialized training fields and academic laboratories equipped with advanced educational technologies designed to maximize the potential and capabilities of students. They were guided by an elite team of faculty members specializing in various scientific disciplines.
Additionally, the delegation visited the Equestrian Club, which was designed according to the latest international standards in equestrian sports, helping students develop exceptional field skills, courage, and self-confidence. The delegation also explored the state-of-the-art gym, equipped with cutting-edge devices aimed at enhancing students’ physical abilities.
A representative from the French delegation delivered a lecture to the Academy’s officers and students, outlining the capabilities of the French Land Forces and their recent developments.
At the conclusion of the visit, the French Land Forces International Cooperation Official commended the Academy’s technological capabilities and facilities, praising the remarkable advancements in the Egyptian Armed Forces’ educational institutions.
