Commander-in-Chief of Egyptian Armed Forces Inspects Airbase, Meets Several Airmen

General Abdel Mageed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, visited one of the airbases, accompanied by Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and the heads of the main branches, along with several other military leaders. This visit is part of the ongoing field monitoring of the Armed Forces’ readiness and combat preparedness.

The Commander-in-Chief was briefed on the combat tasks and training activities carried out by the Air Force personnel, which allow them to achieve the highest levels of combat readiness for their missions.

He also witnessed a simulation of real-life training for one of the fighter aircraft, followed by a visit to an air squadron to monitor examples of preparatory activities and procedures undertaken before flight operations.

He further discussed the planning and execution methods of tasks assigned to several Air Force personnel. Additionally, he toured an exhibition featuring a number of multi-role aircraft and fighters, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

General Abdel Mageed Saqr also met with several Air Force personnel, conveying the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. He emphasized the Armed Forces’ commitment to providing all advanced training systems to the Air Force to enhance the preparation and qualification of pilots and engineering and technical personnel.

He also highlighted the importance of providing integrated technical support systems to ensure the Air Force’s highest readiness to protect Egypt's skies and secure its airspace under all circumstances.

Lastly, he urged the Air Force personnel to double their efforts in training and maximize the use of available resources to maintain the Armed Forces’ high combat capabilities and ensure the readiness of every individual fighter to safeguard the country’s borders and protect national assets across all strategic directions, especially in light of the rapid and severe changes in the regional and international landscapes.
